The heart behind La Orquídea
For Mayra, La Orquídea is much more than an event venue — it is the realization of a dream born from her own life.
Growing up in a hard-working Hispanic family, Mayra dreamed of having a quinceañera of her own. Like many families, financial limitations made that dream impossible. Instead of letting that disappointment define her, she turned it into a lifelong mission: making sure other families could experience the celebrations they had always dreamed of.
Today, when a family puts their daughter’s quinceañera, their wedding, or any celebration in our hands, they give us something as intangible as it is valuable: their trust. Some celebrations last only eight hours — but they live forever in memory. That is where we want to live.

How does pricing work?
Every celebration is different, so we quote per event — guest count, menu, and services all shape the price. Book a tour and you will leave with a clear quote, no pressure.
Do you require a deposit?
Yes — a deposit reserves your date, and we will walk you through the payment schedule during your tour so there are no surprises.
Can we bring our own vendors?
Catering is prepared in-house by our kitchen. For music, photography, cake, and décor, we are happy to work with your vendors — or recommend people we trust.
How big is the ballroom?
Come see it — it photographs beautifully but feels even bigger in person. On your tour we will map your guest count to the floor plan.
When can we visit?
Tours are by appointment seven days a week, including evenings — book online or call and we will find a time that works for your family.
Do you speak Spanish?
Sí. Our whole team is bilingual — your planning, your tour, and your event can happen in the language your family is most comfortable in.
